BAM COPS PEACE PRIZE, DEFENDS WAR

President Obama receives Nobel Peace Prize while escalating war in Afghanistan.
Cicero-like, he humbly accepted the coveted prize while delivering a "robust" defense of war and assuring the world that he'll "use the award to reach for the world that ought to be."
And Coke would like to teach the world to sing, as well.
Bam became the first sitting US Prez in 90 years and the third ever to win it while at war.
Many say it was offered and accepted prematurely.
Nine days after ordering 30,000 more US troops into Afghanistan - in a war that was supposedly winding down - Bam delivered a speech thoughtfully crafted, much of it by himself, that was nearly twice as long as his historic inaugural.
Obama refused to renounce war under his leadership, saying defiantly that "I face the world as it is".
"A nonviolent movement could not have halted Hitler's armies. Negotiations cannot convince al-Qaida's leaders to lay down their arms," Obama stated.
"To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism; it is a recognition of history."
Speaking of history, America's anti-war movement seems to be asleep at the wheel -- of fortune.
