BABY AYLA BLOOD FOUND IN DAD’s HOME

The family of missing tot AYLA REYNOLDS has confirmed that blood found in the home belongs to the missing 20 month year old.

Law enforcement officials have not elaborated on where in the house the blood was found nor the amount or how much was discovered.

Ayla disappeared Dec. 17, 2011 and had been in the custody of her father in his Waterville, Maine home.

The child was last seen in her bed wearing polka-dot pajamas with the words "Daddy's Princess" printed on them when she was last seen in her bed, her father Justin DePietro, had told police.

DePietro told cops he had put her to sleep that night and when he woke up the following morning she was gone.

Authorities told family members that it was "more blood than a small cut would produce," the family said on aylareynolds.com, a site maintained by the child’s mother.

"Even in light of this evidence we are more determined than ever to find out what has happened to Ayla," Trista Reynolds, the mother, said in a site posting. "We still cling to the hope that she is alive and will be returned to us."

Trista Reynolds lives with her parents in Portland.

“I have no idea what happened to Ayla, or who is responsible,” DePietro said in a statement to police in December.

Three adults, including DePietro, were in the home at the time.

Police have not yet named any of the crime scene adults as suspects in the disappearance, but cops fear "They know more than they are telling us."
