AS “The Real Housewives of New York” nears the end AVIVA DRESCHER lets fly her prosthetic gam.
The July 22 ep of the Gotham Housewives franchise will be grotesquely lurid as Aviva Drescher removes her prosthetic leg and hurls it across the restaurant as cameras roll.
“During a wild argument,” among the cast, a source says, “Aviva yells, ‘What do you want from me? To crawl out of here?’ All the while, she’s shimmying out of her prosthetic leg under the table.”
She then “throws it, in front of a crowd of shocked people.”
According to show insiders, the incident happened last fall, but witnesses signed non-disclosure agreements and have kept quiet about the freak show spectacular – UNTIL NOW.
A Bravo promo for the current season teased the bizarre incident showing a quick cut of a detached “stem” in a high heel lying on the ground, but without revealing who’s leg or why.
“It’s something that definitely has not been seen on TV before,” a source told the NY Post. As wine tossing, serial cheating and defrauding the federal government has run its course in terms of “drah-ma” producers were said to “amp the amputation factor” and go for a new low in soft-core gore.
Drescher had detailed the loss of her limb in her book, “Leggy Blonde.”
