ANNA NICOLE’S BODYGUARD “BIG MOE” SUFFERS HEART ATTACK AND STROKE

Anna Nicole Smith‘s former bodyguard, Maurice “Big Moe” Brighthaupt, recently suffered a heart attack and stroke, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

Doctors told Moe the recent health scare was a “mild heart attack and stroke,” and insiders believe it was brought on by the terrible stress he’s been under since he found Anna Nicole unconscious on the floor of her hotel room at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fla., in February. Her son Daniel’s death last September also hit him hard.

“He’s only 38, he’s a strong man, a former college basketball star and a firefighter. But this ongoing saga is destroying him,” said the source.

“His blood pressure is still sky high.

“He wishes that he could have, somehow, saved Anna’s life and Daniel’s, too. He guarded her for four years. She and Danny were like family to him.”

While recuperating at his Florida home from his heart attack and stroke, Moe was rushed to a hospital again on October 13 because he was “overcome with chest pains,” says the source. He was released under a doctor’s care.

When contacted by The ENQUIRER, Moe’s publicist Paul Porter confirmed Moe’s health woes.

“The past year has been a nightmare for him,” said Porter.
