ANGIE FLEES BOSNIA AFTER RAPE SCARE FUROR

description

ANGELINA JOLIE has abruptly cut short lensing her new film in Bosnia after rumors it portrayed a relationship between a rapist and his victim during the Bosnian War.

AP reports Jolie had initially planned to shoot for nearly two week in Bosnia but now only her crew will remain to shoot 2nd unit for 3-4 days, her Bosnian producer Edin Sarkic confirmed.

Angry Bosnians petitioned city officials to withdraw Angie’s shooting permit, The ENQUIRER reported previously, but then recanted.

But now a new furor has been unleashed.

Angie’s flick is about a Serbian man  and Bosnian Muslim woman who "meet cute" during wartime, fall in love and get separated during the brutal conflict.

Spreading rumors of a rape scene between the two are what sent Jolie exiting the location.

Mass rapes were a forbidden  taboo in the aftermath of the country’s 1992-95 war between Serbs and Bosnian Muslims.

The victims have since formed a group to lobby for their rights, which has become one of the country’s most powerful political coalitions.

Jolie is said to be using film friendly Hungary as a substitute for the strife ridden Balkan locale.
