By MICHAEL GLYNN American Idol judge Paula Abdul is in hot water again with Fox TV bosses over an inappropriate relationship — but this time it’s to do with her secret talks with another network and not a young contestant.
Insiders say Fox execs are livid with Paula for hooking up with Dr. Phil McGraw for his latest CBS prime time special. It’s airing the same night as Idol and, to add insult to injury, Paula is said to be using the hour-long special as a launch pad for her own daytime CBS talk show.
She’s in talks with King World, which is owned by CBS and distributes Oprah‘s show and Dr. Phil. She is also discussing her own show with Paramount.
