NEW CANCER SURGERY FOR ANGELINA JOLIE

Angelina Jolie Ovaries Removed

New cancer test prompts ANGELINA JOLIE to remove both her ovaries and fallopian tubes after having had a double mastectomy previously.

The Oscar-winner, 39, confirmed that a new blood test revealed early signs of cancer – again.

"I went through what I imagine thousands of other women have felt," she wrote in The New York Times. "I told myself to stay calm, to be strong, and that I had no reason to think I wouldn't live to see my children grow up and to meet my grandchildren."

As The ENQUIRER previously reported, two years ago Angie revealed she carries a breast cancer gene that made her a high risk for developing both breast and ovarian cancer.

Her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer, and her maternal grandmother also suffered from ovarian cancer.

Medical experts determined that Angelina was in danger of an inherited risk that led the brave superstar to remove both her healthy breasts in attempt to escape a possible genetic fate.

“I wanted other women at risk to know about the options," she wrote in the Times.

"I promised to follow up with any information that could be useful, including about my next preventive surgery, the removal of my ovaries and fallopian tubes."

Angie is hoping that by speaking out about her experiences it will help other women become more aware of the genetic time bombs hidden within their DNA.
