Anderson Cooper Must Marry Gay Lover, Says Mom!

Anderson must marry gay lover says mom ne short

Gloria Vanderbilt, 91, wants to see her baby boy, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, marry his boyfriend, Benjamin Maisani, before her days are done!

“Gloria’s health has held up remarkably over the years, but she knows she can’t go on forever,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER. “She longs for one last big, happy family event that would come with Anderson finally marrying Benjamin.”

The only hitch? Anderson isn’t in any rush to don a ball and chain!

Anderson came out as gay in 2012, and has dated Benjamin, a 42-year-old New York City bar owner, since 2009.

“Gloria constantly tells Anderson, ‘You already live together; what’s the hold up here?’” added the source.

The pair share a toney Greenwich Village home and a sprawling Connecticut estate.

But their relationship has been somewhat rocky.

They survived a messy public breakup in 2012 when an explosive photo surfaced depicting Benjamin kissing another man in a Manhattan park.

“They patched things up and are solid now,” said another source close to the couple.

And “solid” is more than enough for socialite Gloria to aggressively push her 48-year-old “little boy” toward an over-the-top, lavish wedding.

“She really rides hard on Anderson over this,” said the source. “She’s not going to rest until she gets him married off!”

Sorry, Gloria! Though he’s deeply in love with Benjamin, Anderson thinks more about his TV career than marriage.

“Anderson’s a mama’s boy, but he’s got to be his own man, too,” the source added. “He’s pushing back against Gloria’s parental pressure!”
