AMY WINEHOUSE FOUND DEAD
Troubled pop star AMY WINEHOUSE has been found dead in her London home, police confirmed.

London’s Metropolitan police confirmed that Winehouse, 27, was pronounced dead at the home in Camden Square northern London.

The cause is death was not immediately known.  A drug OD is suspected by UK media.

London Ambulance Services said the Grammy winner died before the two ambulance crews it dispatched arrived at the scene.

Born to a hack driver in 1983, Amy’s early career was marked by failure, drug use and dismal love life.

But when her LP "Back to Black" was released it brought Winehouse worldwide fame.

"Back to Black" went on to win five Grammy awards, including song and record of the year for "Rehab" in 2007.

WInehouse’s music was overshadowed by fame, plastic surgery, drugs and booze-fueled madness.

Her erratic stage appearances, boozy fights, ER trips and rehab clinics fueled international news.

She became a shambling, stumbling train wreck, as her disintegration was charted via Internet.

"I didn't go out looking to be famous," Winehouse once said. "I'm just a musician.”

A dead musician.

She's now joined THE 27 CLUB which includes JANIS JOPLIN, JIM MORRISON, JIMI HENDRIX, BRIAN JONES  and KURT COBAIN.
