The “People v. O.J. Simpson” cast was told to stay away from folks involved in the real-life case!

FX’s highly anticipated — and highly controversial — “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson” boasts an all-star lineup, including Cuba Gooding Jr., John Travolta and Sarah Paulson in the dramatic revival of the 1995 murder trial.

And they were all discouraged from meeting the actual A-listers who made history during the Crime of the Century!

That declaration was fine with Simpson fanboy Cuba, who plays the Juice — because he didn’t want to see the ex-footballer in the Nevada prison where he’s serving 33 years for kidnapping and armed robbery!

But Sarah, who portrays losing California D.A. Marcia Clark, couldn’t resist contacting the prosecutor after production wrapped — and the two even went to dinner!

“Friends” star David Schwimmer, aka O.J. attorney Robert Kardashian, had a unique research opportunity: The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” producers asked him if he wanted to talk to Robert’s daughters — on camera, of course!

“I didn’t feel that was necessary,” David laughed.

The 10-episode series kicks off Feb. 2 — and critics predict it will kill the competition!
