UPDATE: Singer Whitney Houston falls ill, postpones more of her European tour.
The singer had been skedded to get things cookin’ with a concert in Paris but she suddenly canceled.
Houston’s rep issued a statement saying the popular thrush had been felled by an upper respiratory ailment, and on doctor’s orders forced Whitney to cancel her Parisian debut.
The statement said Houston “deeply regrets having been forced to postpone the show" . The dates in Manchester England have no be axed as well.
Houston is promoting, what many call a "comeback", album, I Look to You on a world tour.
Early perfs on the tour had been negatively received, leading media to question the singer’s health amid old fears for the former crack-cocaine abuser but Houston insists she’s in great shape.
