Ailing Nancy Reagan At Death’s Door

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan cared for an ailing Ronald Reagan until his death in 2004 – and now the matriarch is bravely facing her own final days.

“Nancy has gotten her house in order so she can die with no regrets and no unfinished business,” family insiders told The National ENQUIRER.

“She’s still sharp mentally, but her body is failing her. Her heart is getting weaker, and her physical strength is nearly gone,” said one source.

Saddest for Nancy, the 93-year- old is mostly confined to a wheelchair – and can no longer walk the grounds of the Bel Air, Calif., estate where the Reagans have lived since leaving the White House in 1989.

“It was her main form of exercise and now, she’s just so frail,” a friend said. Still, Nancy is refusing to give in to helplessness.

“She knows Ronnie’s legacy was his great sense of optimism, and she’s carrying that forward,” added the pal.
