CHER has bounced back from her “deathbed!”
The 68-year-old superstar had been out of commission for five months after canceling her concert tour last year due to a “killer virus.”
At the time, her rep told The National ENQUIRER the virus had affected Cher’s “kidney function.”
Cher made her public comeback on March 1 at a screening of the cop thriller “Dirty” in Beverly Hills. She was there to support her transgender son, Chaz.
An eyewitness said: “Cher got off her ‘deathbed’ to support Chaz, but it’s clear that the illness has taken a great toll on her.
"Cher looked thinner than usual – and bedraggled. ”
As The ENQUIRER exclusively reported, Chaz was so concerned about his mother’s condition sources said he was willing to give her a kidney.
Said a friend: “It appears that Cher is finally out of the woods.
"There’s no question that this months-long illness she’s endured has brought the two of them closer together.”
