ADELE’s BOW WOW WOW!

ADELE’s singing has gone to the dogs – literally!
The Grammy- and Oscar-winning singer is not only a hit with human fans but the canine crowd too!
Dogs of all shapes and sizes are howling along to Adele’s soulful songs. A hilarious video, featuring a cute black Labrador retriever named Rev who belts out his own version of Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love” was posted on YouTube in mid-May. And the dog’s rendition amassed more than 3.5 million views by the end of the month.
“His response to the song is pretty adorable,” said Rev’s owner Wes Reiff. In the video, the pooch rouses from a nap as soon as he hears the song’s opening notes, and he begins to howl as Adele sings. While Rev may be an overnight sensation, he’s not alone in his admiration for the British vocal powerhouse.
Many dog owners have taken videos of their furry four-legged friends belting out their versions of Adele’s smash single “Someone Like You,” including notable renditions by a basset hound, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, a white German shepherd and a French bulldog pup – and they all can be seen on YouTube.
As the proud owner of a Dachshund named Louie, it’s likely new mom Adele is thrilled with her four-footed fan base. But what’s behind the dogs’ fascination with her?
“There is something very animal-istic about the pitch in Adele’s voice that the dogs all respond to in the same way,” explained animal expert Dr. Patrick Mahaney of the Veterinary Cancer Group in Culver City, Calif.
“The dogs are responding... as if they are in the wild trying to communicate with her. There is no other singer that they react to in this way because Adele’s voice and pitch is unlike any other.”
