ADAM LAMBERT SHOCKS AT THE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

description

Adam Lambert brought down the house at the American Music Awards on Sunday with a racy performance of his new song "For Your Entertainment," but the sexy song and dance wasn’t the only highlight of the show. Glambert not only kissed a boy, he kissed his keyboardist as well which was edited out of the west coast feed of the show as well as J. Lo’s flopperoo.

In addition to performances by Eminem, Janet Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston made a triumphant comeback singing "I Didn’t Know My Own Strength." She garnered the award for international artist of the year.

Taylor Swift was a big winner too but the country cutie had to give her acceptance speeches via satellite because she’s in London for a concert. Taylor took home five awards, including artist of the year beating out Michael Jackson.

But the King of Pop still reigned.

He was named favorite male artist in the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories, while his 2003 hits collection "Number Ones" was named favorite album in both those categories.

Jacko, who died in June, made history by collecting more AMAs during his career than any other artist and became the show’s winningest posthumous artist. His brother Jermaine, natch,  accepted on Michael’s behalf.
