LEGAL CHIC: SEX HARASS SUITS

HOUSE! BOREANAZ! AFFLECK! GENE SIMMONS!
A day without the announcement of a celebrity sexual harassment suit is a day without punitive damages in litigious crazy Hollywood.

Legal eagles have been keen to jump on the recent spate of celebrity harassment lawsuits - with five - count' em- claims being filed in Los Angeles Superior Court since April and this rash  is an itch that need be judicially scratched.

Casey Affleck directing the bizarro Joaquin Phoenix mockumentary got slammed in a $2 million sex harass suit alleging "On one occasion, Affleck instructed a crew member to take off his pants in order to show Plaintiff his penis, even after Plaintiff objected." Amanda White, a crew member who filed the suit alleges that Affleck subjected her and director of photography Magdalena Gorka to "uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances" in the filing.

David Boreanaz
who came clean about his infidelity and was the possible subject of an extortion plot by another alleged mistress gets papered again in a claim alleged by a woman who worked as an extra on Bones.

Kristina Hagan
claims in her suit that Boreanaz allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of her on several occasions after he agreed to help with her acting career in a classic "no win situation".

While she refused Boreanaz's advances, according to the filing, she claimed she knew "she had to put up with a certain amount of his inappropriate sexual behavior in order to have any opportunity to obtain employment on Bones.

PLUS, in a unrelated case, there's the matter of same-sex harassment in a case filed by House assistant prop master Carl Jones, who says he was harassed by two male supervisors - "based upon his refusal to go along with degenerate conduct, visits to strip bars, participation in getting drunk, stoned or intoxicated on cocaine, to participate in sexual conduct at the trailer, and other dangerous conduct."

Rounding out the sex harass claimant roundup, ESPN makeup artist Victoria Jackson filed a $500,000 sexual assault case against KISS rocker Gene Simmons after he tried to preempt her filing by accusing her of extortion and seeking a court order saying he did not assault her.

These cases cited are ALL still pending.

P.S.  if you were counting, the House case was a "two-fer".
