Kate Gosselin‘s pas de DON’T as she’s too busy going cougar for soon-to-be ex-Bachelor Jake!
The reality mom grabs every possible chance to get closer to the Bachelor hunk on Dancing With the Stars and wouldn’t mind taking their relationship beyond the show, sources say.
"Kate is totally unfazed by the fact that Jake is engaged, and she’s making it clear that they could have a future," an insider told The ENQUIRER.
"Kate’s got a big ego and an even bigger crush on Jake, and she doesn’t care who knows it."
Jake – who recently became engaged to Florida blonde Vienna Girardi on the ABC reality show – is partnered on DWTS with Chelsie Hightower.
Kate is teamed with professional dancer Tony Dovolani.
"Kate’s never looked better, so she feels she could snare a hot guy like Jake," another source divulged. "She also believes all’s fair in love and war. Since Jake isn’t married yet, she thinks he’s fair game.
Kate’s infatuation for Jake kicked into high gear when he rushed to comfort her after her disastrous Dancing debut.
"Kate was utterly crushed when one of the judges compared her to a wobbly shopping cart on the dance floor," said the source.
"While the other contestants gloated over her misfortune, Jake consoled her and offered encouragement. Kate was deeply touched."
But the sources warn that love-hungry Kate better watch her back.
"Kate may be tough, but Vienna IS tougher," the source said.
