Sick of being badmouthed by her own father Lindsay Lohan is taking action - legal action!

RadarOnline.com reports Lilo will file a restraining order against her father, Michael Lohan in the next two days.  Sources say Lindsay fears for her safety from her estranged father.

Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley Chapman, has begun the paperwork on behalf of her client and the filing should be ready in the next 48-hours.

Recently Daddy Lohan went on a media blitz claiming Lindsay was hooked on drugs and that he even knew who her drug dealer was!

Michael then renewed animosity with estranged wife Dina after he charged the judge in the DUI case should've thrown Lindsay in court-enforced rehab.
