LOHAN MANS UP FOR PAL JON

Nothing says confidence like having Michael Lohan for a pal  - just ask Hawaiian Eye for the Ladies Jon Gosselin!

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Lohan calls TLC's statement (which calls Jon opportunistic and self-destructive) "hypocritical nonsense."

"If anyone's opportunistic, it's TLC!" Lohan buddied up. "Here they are, trying to cut him out of the show but they want him kept under wraps so he can't move forward and do something on his own."
