Paramedic charged in Travolta blackmail scheme.

Ambulance technician Tarino Lightbourne, 47, pleaded not guilty Monday to attempting extort and conspiracy to extort $25 million from John Travolta following the death of his son Jett.

Bahamas Prosecutor Bernard Turner objected to bail for Lightbourne.

Police are seeking a "certain document" and prosecution feels it may not be found if Lightbourne is released.

Bahamian Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater has also been accused and resigned from public office.

Details of the alleged blackmail plot have not been made public -- yet.
