Buoyed by success of new 90210 CW execs plan Melrose Place spinoff two.

Net flack Paul Hewitt for the CW and Paramount are thinking to put another remake in the pilot pipeline.

The new Nine-Oh is not the phenom the original but skews well among 18-34 year old women over its weak numbers a year ago.

Melrose aired on Fox from 92-99 and starred Heather Locklear.  The show was created by Darren Star of Sex and the City fame.

The success of new Nine-Oh, Smallville, Supernatural and One Tree Hill have staved off rumors the CW was this close to folding.
