Project Runway's reigning supermodel Heidi Klum took an unusual tact to fight her fear of  sharks!

Klum is a firm believer in facing your fears to overcome them.

The Teutonic beauty jumped into Bahaman waters with 45 sharks - sans cage for a Discovery Channel doc.

"Sometimes you have to jump over your own shadow in order to learn something that you will never forget for the rest of your life, ´ Heidi said afterward.
 
"Then you know you can conquer your fears."

Either that or avoid watching Jaws, Heidi.
