DEMI AGONY AS SHE LOSES BABY

Demi Moore and Ashton
Kutcher are heartbroken
after the 42-year-old
actress suffered a
miscarriage during her fifth month
of pregnancy, The National Enquirer
has learned.
The couple's secret heartache was
revealed as Demi showed off her
toned new figure after a workout
session at a West Hollywood gym.
And while the tragedy has been
devastating for the Hollywood
duo, friends claim the ordeal has
drawn the couple even closer
together — and they are now planning
a summer wedding in Malibu,
California.
"Demi and Ashton are absolutely
devastated," said a source. "She was
five months pregnant and was really
looking forward to having a baby
with Ashton.
"It was horrible for her. Ashton
was there with her throughout the
ordeal and was incredibly supportive.
Demi was sure that everything
was going to be okay because she
was well past the dangerous first
trimester. She was heartbroken.
"Demi thought she miscarried
because of her age — but a doctor said
that was absolutely not the case."
Explained an insider: "Demi
developed a problem with her
placenta during her fifth month of
pregnancy, and she miscarried and
lost the baby.
"It's rare for problems like this to
occur in the second trimester, but
it's not without precedent. She was
crushed at losing the little baby she
wanted so much."
The insider added that in anticipation
of her new child, Demi had even
added a baby wing onto her newly
remodeled Beverly Hills home.
"Demi and her three daughters
have been living with Ashton while
her own home is undergoing remodeling,"
said the insider.
"But she expected the remodeling
to be completed by the time of her
scheduled due date, which was to
be this October."
