Nicole Kidman is shocked and appalled over the public spectacle Tom Cruise has made over new love Katie Holmes. That’s what friends say about the Oscar- winner, who has been dumbfounded by her ex’s public displays of affection for Katie — as well as his bizarre appearance on a recent Oprah Winfrey show in which the 42-year-old repeatedly proclaimed his love for the 26-year-old actress.
Now sources say that Nicole’s disapproval has driven a wedge between the once-friendly exes.
“The way he’s behaving with Katie — the public kiss fests, the romantic trips to foreign lands and going on Oprah — rubs salt in Nicole’s wounds,” said a friend. “After all, she was married to Tom for almost 10 years.”
