BRITNEY’S MISCARRIAGE NIGHTMARE

description

Britney Spears is recovering after a desperate hospital drama in which she feared she would lose her baby, The National Enquirer can reveal.

The four-months pregnant singer was in Florida when she was rushed to the hospital after experiencing bleeding problems.

“Britney feared she might be losing her baby,” said a source at 250-bed Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. The 23-year-old was admitted to the hospital on April 8 and spent two nights there under a physician’s care.

Britney and husband Kevin Federline were looking forward to relaxing when they arrived at their holiday home in Destin, Fla. But Britney feared her hopes of motherhood were in jeopardy when she began to bleed. Her bodyguard drove both her and Kevin in a race against time to the Sacred Heart Medical Park in West Destin.

A witness at the hospital described the trio’s arrival at 10:30pm: “He [the driver] told the security guards on duty that he had an emergency outside and she needed to get in quick. When they wheeled her inside everyone saw the passenger was Britney Spears.

“She looked terrible. She was pale and her hair was a mess. She had clearly been crying.”

“She was wearing a baggy t-shirt and jeans but there had been enough blood to soak through the clothes.”

“She was in a terrible amount of distress and her husband was at her side as a doctor and nurse went in with her.”

Britney then made an 18-mile journey along Choctawhatchee Bay to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center where she was admitted to its maternity ward. She arrived under a veil of secrecy and the alias used in the hospital for her was “Madison Lea.”

The insider said: “She apparently told hospital personnel that she was four months pregnant and was suffering bleeding problems that were not normal.”

“There was no indication that her admission was due to drinking or drug-taking. She is just a young expectant mother who was worried what she was experiencing wasn’t normal.”

An obstetrician had her placed in a private room where Kevin maintained a constant bedside vigil.

“On Sunday she was told that she could go home, and that she and the baby were fine. She was released around noon and taken into a waiting car by Kevin and her bodyguard.”
