50 CENT: NO QUIERO TACO BELL

description

50 Cent feels slapped by a fast food diss — and he called in his lawyers!

The legal brawl is over a hoax letter sent out by the Mex-Tex chain asking 50 Cent to change his nom de rap  to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent to help hype Taco’s value menu.  To compensate the rapper, the food chain would donate muy dinero – $10,000 to the charity of 50’s choice.

50, aka Curtis Jackson then sued for trademark infringement and improper usage of his good name in Manhattan Federal court.
Attorneys for Taco Bell call Fitty’s lawsuit an attempt to “burnish his gangsta rapper persona by distorting beyond all recognition a bona fide, good faith offer.”

“Why would Taco Bell want to use his client’s name?” charges Fitty’s atty.

Maybe Taco shoulda stuck to the Chihuahua?
