The celebrity chef’s marriage to Michael Groover “has been hanging by a thread for years,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “Even though Paula gave him a mansion, Mike’s still doing as he pleases with his other woman!”
As The ENQUIRER recently reported, Paula, 68, tried to avoid a messy divorce by gifting her husband with their 5,646-square-foot Savannah, Ga., mansion – worth an estimated $1.3 million.
“But it just seemed to let Michael believe he could get away with whatever he wanted!” said the source.
Paula’s marriage had already been rocked by reports that he had a longtime secret mistress, as The ENQUIRER exclusively reported in 2013.
Top sources in Savannah claimed that 59-year-old Michael had carried on an intimate relationship with a sexy, middle-age brunette who has known his family for years.
He reportedly dropped by the other woman’s house as “regular as clockwork,” and the illicit lovers even slipped out to local bars together to have drinks with friends.
“It was no secret that Michael was having an affair,” said a shocked resident. “It went on for more than a year, and the only surprise is that it took Paula so long to find out about it!”
But now Paula is ready to drag Michael into court!
