Cops: Utah man shoots trailer park neighbor after complaining the vic had “telepathically raped” his wife!

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Michael Selleneit, 53, was arrested on felony charges of attempted murder AND unlawful possession of a semi-automatic.

SLC law enforcement said in a statement that Selleneit and his wife previously reported their Centerville Utah neighbor to police that Anthony Pierce, 41, “trying to get them on drugs or was trying to have sexual relations with Michael’s wife.”

Selleneit also claimed Pierce had been "telepathically threatening" to kill him and his wife in addition to the alleged telepathic sexual assaults, according to jail docs.

Police said they never found any evidence to support the bizarre claims.

Selleneit, reportedly told cops he shot Pierce in self-defense with intent to kill him.

The shooting occurred at 4:55 p.m. on Sunday as the “telepathic rapist” Pierce was doing yard work outside while his 8-year-old daughter remained inside the trailer, police told the SLC Trib.

After Selleneit fired, Pierce was hit twice, once in the leg and once in the back. The bullet hit several vital organs and the heart sack surrounding the vital organ.

The vic was evac-ed via chopper for medical treatment.

Selleneit faces life imprisonment if found guilty.

Oddly enough, Selleneit is pronounced “selentite” – just like famed author HG Wells’ infamous  “selentites” who inhabited the lunar orb in his novel “First Men IN the Moon”!
