In the Heights with 13 nominations including Best Musical dominated the 2008 Tony Awards nominates. 

The noms were announced by former winners David Hyde Pierce and Sara Ramirez.

The revival of Gypsy starring Patti Lupone and a musical based on John Waters' film Cry Baby also garnered multiple nominates.

Former Dukes of Hazzard star Tom Wopat got a nod for his turn in A Catered Affair and Patrick Stewart for Macbeth.

Frau Blucher -- SCTV great Andrea Martin -- is up for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for Young Frankenstein. 

The Tony Awards will be televised June 15 from Radio City Musical Hall hosted by Whoopi Goldberg.
