Lawyers for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline spent Monday in court dealing with the latest issues in the couple's ongoing custody dispute. According to TMZ, Spears will spend Christmas day with Sean Preston and Jayden James since the boys spent the majority of Thanksgiving day with K-Fed. The next custody hearing is set for Jan. 23.

In a separate hearing, Spears' attorney, J. Michael Flanagan, dealt with Brit's driving without a valid California license case. Flanagan asked a Los Angeles judge to postpone the court proceedings in order to give attorneys more time to negotiate. The judge agreed and postponed until January 2. Brit's lawyer said he feels the singer is being treated to harshly because of her celebrity status.
