Sweating with the Pop Tart?

Britney Spears is reportedly planning to release a series of workout tapes.

A source close to The Rebounder told the Chicago Sun-Times that Britney's wild gyrations helped burn off her post Meltdown flab and that now she wants to sex up Joe and Jane Six Pack as well.

A close Spears pal revealed that the multiple VMA winner recently stumbled across  a treasure trove of vintage Jane Fonda workout tapes "popped them into an old VCR machine and got a big kick out of watching them.''

A rep at Brit's label, Jive/Zomba, enthused, "The idea makes perfect sense, given Britney is a singer who uses dance so much in her act.''

Well, d'oh.
