Will Beyonce someday hear the pitter-patter of little feet? Sure, just as soon as she gets over shock of watching her sister Solange give birth.

"I was there in the delivery room and it kind of traumatized me," Beyonce tells Ellen DeGeneres.

"I said please don't have me in the room. And she said, 'You have to. I'm your sister. Stop being so silly.' Well, I was right!"

Beyonce, who married rapper Jay-Z in April, says she "will" have a baby of her own in the future and that Jay-Z would make a great dad.

"He's a great guy. He's a cool guy," she said.

"He's patient."
