This just in - Angelina Jolie has checked into the maternity ward of a hospital in the south of France.

A spokeswoman for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, Nadine Bauer stated Angie is doing A-OK and  everything is going well.

Bauer also said Angie will remain in the hospital until she gives birth to the Pitt-Jolie twins.

She said Jolie was admitted so to avoid media scrutiny and that she was not birthing immediately.

Now, on which Independence Day will THAT be?

July 4 or July 14th - Bastille Day?
