George Clooney was hit by a car while riding around New Jersey on a motorcycle Friday with his girlfriend Sarah Larson, according to TMZ.com.

"George Clooney was involved in a motorcycle accident" George's publicist confirmed. "He was treated for a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash at Palisades Medical Center in Palisades, NJ. Sarah Larson, who was riding on the motorcycle with Clooney, suffered a broken foot. Clooney and Larson were released shortly after entering the facility."

George has been spening time on the East Coast while filming Burn After Reading.
