Not “HANOI JANE” – her not-so-taking-it EASY RIDER brother PETER FONDA as he launches attacks President Obama.
Fonda appearing at the Cannes Film festival directed a four-letter tirade at Obama – and oil warlords BP over the aftermath of the disastrous Gulf oil spill, the worst in US history.
A radical environmentalist, Fonda, who was on the Croisette to promo his documentary “The Big Fix”, accused Washington of trying to gag reporting on the crisis.
Fonda revealed, “I sent an email to President Obama saying, 'You are a f—— traitor,' using those words… 'You're a traitor, you allowed foreign boots on our soil telling our military – in this case the Coast Guard – what they can and could not do, and telling us, the citizens of the United States, what we could or could not do'."
A still livid Fonda said he sent the email last week.
In the searing documentary, Fonda attempts to assess the damages caused by the spill to beaches but he's quickly repulsed by strong-armed B P “clean-up” personnel.
