Dave Chappelle checked into an emergency room last Saturday for exhaustion, his rep confirms. The comedian stayed for a few hours, but is now fine, according to his publicist.

Chappelle, who denied reports that he checked into a mental health center in South Africa in 2005, was said to be suffering from exhaustion from traveling.

Maybe it's also due to activities like breaking the endurance record last April at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles — the comedian delivered a more than six-hour-long standup routine!
